Children are curious, they want to know a lot about the world and the universe. I experience time and again the fascination with which children in particular learn about the universe. Cecilia Scorza-Lesch has taken up this motivation and used it as a starting point to further develop the pupils' enthusiasm. With the help of experiments and lots of hands-on activities, the pupils recognise connections that are relevant to their lives.
As a professional advisor for sustainable development, it is important for me to strengthen and convey the children's self-efficacy. Everyone can contribute to preserving the earth in its uniqueness. I am happy to use my experience as a primary school teacher to help strengthen environmental education and encourage children to take action.
